Heavy Trip
Feature film (2018)
Turo, a boy from a small village up north does not care about hockey or tinkering with cars: during his free time, his is the singer of the toughest (and only) metal band in the region. After some surprising incidents, Turo and his band mates are given the chance of a lifetime to get away from it all and perform to larger audiences. You are in for a heavy trip! The news spreads in no time, and the entire village is overjoyed for the boys, but, of course, there are some twists and turns before they can set off on. Turo has a crush on Miia, who works at the florist’s. Unfortunately, Turo’s arch enemy, Jouni Tulkku, village celebrity and slimy pop star, is also interested in Miia. To make his and his friends’ dreams come true, Turo has to overcome several setbacks, from his stage fright and the Norwegian Armed Forces to Valhalla’s vikings.
